BRIANNA FINNEY
Everyone encounter challenges in life. Sometimes those challenges are so difficult that you cannot face it alone. And you should not have to. Whether you are suffering from grief or loss, a crisis in your faith, a trauma of any kind, or a new life development, support is available to you.
I am passionate about helping individuals find hope and healing by the process of therapy. I have a holistic approach to understanding my clients and seek to capitalize on their strengths and talents. I view therapy as a collaborative process. As we work together, it is my goal to support you, encourage you, and help you to make sense of your past as you disentangle it from your present. My office is a caring and safe environment to begin transforming your pain to growth. I received my training at Christian Theological Seminary, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My training focused on psychodynamic theories and techniques in working with individuals. My theoretical orientation is object relations and attachment theory, which consider the impacts of early (and later) relationships on one’s life. My special areas of interest and clinical expertise include but are not limited to:
