My goal is to assist my clients in improving the quality of their lives by; reducing stress, increasing satisfaction with their relationships, careers, lifestyles, and learning to better cope with and/or resolve the emotional problems of living. I strive to provide high quality therapeutic services demonstrated by my commitment to following these guiding principles: integrity, responsiveness, personalization, respect, confidentiality and knowledge. I have been in full-time private practice since 1993, providing individual, couple, family and group therapy as well as supervision and consultation, all from a psychodynamic and relational orientation. It is reasonable to anticipate, in most cases, that I can provide a thorough assessment and treatment proposal within 3-5 sessions. Special areas of expertise include relationships, depression, men’s issues and identity issues.
I can be reached at the office by calling (317) 374-5282. Unless my voicemail indicates otherwise, you can expect a return call within 24 hours, usually the same day. Office hours are by appointment, evening hours may be available. If your schedule is flexible, an appointment can usually be arranged within 7-10 days. Many insurance plans will reimburse for some of the cost of treatment, insurance claim forms are completed at month-end. I am not a provider with any managed care or preferred provider plans. Payment by cash or check is required at each session. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Indiana, a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, a Clinical Member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, a Certified Group Psychotherapist and an Approved Clinical Supervisor through the Center for Credentialing and Education.
